what are the pros' and cons'of disc brakes vs. drums? Which is best to have on front? Which is best to have on rear?

They will both stop well but i think disks are the way to go.If you get water in the drums when its cold,your front brakes will freeze up.If you get sand in them,they wear the pads out quicker.I would rather have disks on the front,the back one really dont care which one,disk or a drum brake that is sealed to keep water out.Also disk brakes are easier to change.
