| Hello
I was wondering if you could answer a question for me On the AR230 I have a down payment on the moomba LSV but then I took a look at the AR230 and fell in love with its design and price. My question is I love to wake board and have children who wakeboard, one that is 15. so am I seriously limiting the advancement of our wakeboarding goals by getting the Yamaha instead?

| | This boat is NOT a competition wake board boat. Moomba is made specifically for that purpose! If you plan on wakeboarding 90% of the time then the Moomba will be a better choice. If you are looking for a nice riding familiy boat with speed and decent wakeboarding boat then the Yamaha is a better choice. In reference to wakeboarding; you could always purchase some fat sacks to weight down the boat a bit and give a better wake! |

| | If you're going pro or into competition, this boat's not what you want. Ideally, I'd prefer a cruise control system / perfect pass and a heavier boat for a larger wake if I were a competitor. Regardless, you can still trick all you want with this boat and spend thousands less for a very high quality product. Depends on your priorities. The prior poster's comments regarding fat sacks, you could go this route too. I own an AR230 HO, and am really impressed and happy with the buy. |
