bought a used 03' msx 140 took it to lake for the third time and will not go over 30 mph and overheat and check engine light are flashing. any info on what might be the problem. and has anyone elso had this problem. thanks,

i have a msx140 and it only runs for about 1-2 minutes then it will start to die out, what could cause this and how do i fix it???

Good luck is all I can say. We had the exact same problem on a garaged and babied machine with 35 hrs on it. Was told it was a gasket. It took over 3 months to get the part as it was on backorder from Polaris. They replaced it, put it in the test water, and a piston fired and the $3700 engine blew. Polaris is trying hard and doing a good job to wash their hands of known pwc problems. we are going to be contacting our attorney. needless to say we will never purhase polaris anything again.
