RXP for sure. No competetion. I have raced these over and over and have beaten them with not ever full throttle.

It would be a close race. I doubt the earlier poster has raced these "over and over", considering I have only seen a few on the water all summer. The Yamaha would definitly be the wiser one to buy, that SeaDoo is VERY unrealiable with lots of mechanical problems.

2006 RXP with Stage 2 is only Slightly faster than my 2001 GPR 1200. SLIGHTLY!

these people are idiots. the RXP is 2-3 mph faster, and faster out of the hole. and in regards to the sea doo mechanical problems, the new sea-doos are four stroke, and are now more reliable than the GP, and they also have many new features for more reliability. hope that helps

The RXP will beat the GP1300R everytime. I don't know if you Yamaha owners have noticed, the only changes that have been made to the GPR's over the past years are in impeller pitch. Yeah, its got more top end than it did last year and the year before, but it loses acceleration and holeshot. Offshore riding, RXT is king, hook it up with a stage III kit and you can beat a stock or stage I RXP's in calm water.

RXP 72 GPS 1300R 62 STOCK ALL RIVA STAGE 11 EXCEPT HEADS 67 WITH HEADS AND 07 PUMP 69.5 THEN IT SEIZED 5 MINS. LATER NEW PISTONS AND SEIZED AGAIN IN SHOP OVER 4 MONTHS STILL THERE. DID ALL THAT TO BEAT RXP. RXP GOT $10000 GRAND IN UPGRADES AND IS DOING 80. I SPENT $6000 NOW IT CRAP I WISH I HAD GOT RXP TO START WITH INSTEAD OF TRYING TO WIN WITH FIXED O3 GPR 1300 THAT CAN NOT WIN AGAINST RXP....... STOCK OR MODED
