| everyone i hear talking about the topspeed of there RXT says something different i hear anywhere fronm 65-80. Are some of these peiople just full of it or are the speedometeres just off on some of these crafts. Mine hits about 68....please respobnd. also mine will hit a higher speed then slow down and maintain like 67 what does that mean?????

| i own 2 2005 rxt the both top out at 67 to 68 rev-limter set at 8000rpm also have friends who have 2006 rxt and its the same they also have a rxp two seater it tops out at 70 i have herd of people goning 80+ but they have change the brain box or something like that but will mess up your warranty

| | mine hits about 65, and then after about another 3 seconds tops out at 70 mph. Right at 8000 rpm. |

| Like I wrote in a review of this unit... and mine is a 2006 model. essentially, the same except for the color....
supercharger lets it accelerate like a rocket. Don't believe other people saying they hit 80 MPH. Tachometers are notoriously incorrect. You MUST measure speed with a GPS unit. With 180lb rider and 1/2 tank of gas my fastest speed was 67.3MPH It's large and heavy and cuts thru the chop quite well. pulls tubes, skiiers with no problems at all. 215HP behing a supercharger... what else could you ask for? just don't run Wide Open Throttle when you are airborn, the high revs with blow the supercharger clutches. This rig is made for high speed cruising. If you want to jump wakes all day, get a lighter unit. Simple analogy: This is more of a dragster than a dune buggy.

| The RXT will go between 65-68 The speedo is not accurate. Use a GPS.
