| | I'm new to all of this, but what I don't get is this: This is Sea Doo's lowest model for 2006, but 130 hp seems like a fair amount, especially when I compare it to some 2004 or 2005 models by Honda, Yamaha, etc. Is it powerful? Is it heavier than others that are more expensive with a similar hp or what? What I am trying to ask I suppose, is that is there more than just hp to look at if I am trying to determine how fast the things will go. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. As you can see, I don't know much. Thanks! |

| my thought is you cant get any better than sea-doo, but you should look at the weight and the horsepower and compare them equaly horespower does not mean it has a higher top speed but the sa-doo is probably fastest

| | You're talking about the GTI right? In that price range, the VX 110 from Yamaha is actually faster because of its pump. There are plent of things to look at other than horsepower such as weight, hull design, pump, and others. Just because it has a higher horsepower doesn't mean it's faster. |
