I have a 1989 Artic cat 440 jag can anyone tell me how to diconnect the choke cable from the carb

usaly u should be able to just unscrew the choke right off on my sled i took the chcoke right of becuz it wasnt runing rite with it

Using a 12 mm wrench, Simply unscrew (counter clockwise)the cable and starter plunger unit from the carb, be careful not to disconent the spring and plunger unit, it minght fall down inside the engine bonet, good luck retrieving it.

unscrew it...and if that doesnt work take your choke hose that goes into a carb and just disconnect it...
