| At the footrests of the Yamahas,I have noticed that when the PWC is stored even with a cover, the rain water remains in the footrest location & with extended time the water gets slimy. Is there a factory solution for this or do the owners place a drain at each footrest. And if you do place the drain , will it void the warrantee ?

| I keep a hand pump next to my ski rack to pump the wells out before I put the cover on. It only takes a few seconds and once dry, the cover keeps them that way. I also face my ski out towards the lake so even the nastiest wind and waves won't splash up onto the cover.

| | I have the same problem with mine...and my grip pads have pretty much pretty much came off. I think that that is the reason. My machine stays about 3 feet out of the water, but its on lake erie....so sometimes the weather is harsh enough to splash waves on....It seems like even rain makes its way through the cover....and it is rather inconvenient and gross...im curious also but im guessing its just something you have to live with. |
