Anyone that says that this boat does 65 mph or more is lying. I was clocked with a radar gun. Police issued no less, at 59 mph. True speed compared to what the speedo says is two different things. I weigh about 190 lbs and I had a 1/4 tank of gas. Lake Erie was absolutly flat with no ripples. Everyone's speed with vary with weight and water condition, but this is not a 65 mph boat out of the box. Email me with with questions about cheap easy mod's to get you to 65 mph..... 69 and 73 mph are impossible on a stock SLX. Speedometers are not acurate at all. It will run around 63-64. I had one but sold it to get a RXP. The RXP is a much better riding machine.

listen buddy, if you can only get 59 then learn how to ride. i got 71, and ill see if i can post a video to proove it. we have two sea doo rx-di's and i beat them everytime.. their speedo's read 70.. so unless theyre both 11 mph off i think you're wrong

55-58 thats it. If anyone wants a fast boat without spending upwards of ten g's then hop on to a ULTRA 150. I dont care what year. They are all capable of a true 64-65 MPH. Not Polaris's 65.

Don't worry about. You will blow the thing up before you get to the top speed. Buy and Ultra
