| I have purchased a 1997 Kawasaki 1100 XLT and really don't know what I bought. According to the meter, it has 59 hours on it. I paid $2000.00 including a trailer, two life vests and a knee board. Did I do ok or am I fouled up? Is this a good machine?

| You stole it. The XLT is a Yamaha, the Kawasaki is an called an STX. If you have the Kaw STX I can tell you a great deal about it - Have owned one since '97 (over 350 hrs) and purchased another '99 (with triple pipes) last fall. Ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. It's a great handling, reliable boat. Change the fuel filter (you can replace it with one for a universal auto that's cheaper and better). Should you decide you don't want it, bring it to Chicago and I'll give you your $2,000 in cash. :-) If I was Catholic I'd tell you to start doing your penance (for stealing) :-).
