My brother-in-law has a '98 Bandit and I have an '02 ZRX1200. The ZRX--stock--has more horsepower and torque, but the Bandit has better wind protection with the taller fairing. Also, the ZRX is liquid cooled, while the Bandit it air-oil cooled. The ZRX allows for full suspension adjuestment while the Bandit does not. I love my Rex and he loves his Bandit; it's just all in what you want.
