I have a Polaris Classic 700 with 1,500 miles. It's terrible on gas mileage and top speed is 90mph. What can I do to increase the fuel mileage and get more speed? I have the track on the M10 running loose, valve gates are clean. I'm told that perhaps changing weights in the primary clutch might help. I have a Polaris roller secondry clutch on this machine.

I have the same sled and the same concerns. 90 MPH is about top speed but it goes through twice the gas my wifes Indy 500 EFI uses and a lot more than my son's Ski Doo 800. I would like to know if anything can be done especially about the milage because on long trips, I'm having to plan for fill-ups long before anyone else.
