| I have a 700 Switchback (2004) It's a great ride very responsive. My only complaint is that it overheats if your not contsantly going off the trail to pick up snow. It has the perimetre cooling system and the one heat exchanger at the back. It should have tunnel cooling as well. Any suggestions?

| My buddy has the same problem. It has happened twice so far where the detonation light came on. We were running hard at the time, 80+ miles/hr. He is installing a temp gauge. My '03 SKS has not had the same problem. Do not really know what to tell you at this point. Good luck, Jeff

| My brother has a 2003 700 SKS and experienced the same over heating problem. He studded the track which kicks up more debris to the heat exchangers. Plus you get more traction! But, be sure to install tunnel protectors or the studs could tear up your rear heat exchanger.

| the tracks that come stock on them sleds are not too good for cooling off the heat exchangers because there is too much clearance in the back . i suggest you buy a paddle track.. see the new Mxz X for an idea of a paddle track. don't get any bigger than 3/4" - 1.5" or you will tear lugs, and at the end of the season when the trains get hard nothing will cool your sliders because the track will sit too high off the ground. peace
