| Is this a good sled for someone first starting out? How does it compare to other sleds? How come I don't see very much on the 440 but lots on the 570 and even the 370?

| The 440 fan is a great lightweight trail sled. Most folks opt for the Z570 because of the extra 20 hp (70 vs 50 for the 440)gets you across the lakes a little quicker.
The Z chassis is bulletproof and comforable to ride in all kinds of conditions and with the 15 inch wide track extemely stable.
Cant go wrong with any of these machines.

| this is a great motor... the motor on the 440 is a 431cc which was used ever since 1976. and its enver a failure. not high tech but reliable and fuel efficent. I was a but disapointed witht he ski's and the clutch. the clutch would definately give you more speed if you lower the spring tension to engage at 3500 rpms. but the handling is welll. I owned one for a year and i love it. another option is a polaris supersport550.
