| Just purchased an Eton-Beamer II for my wife. It has about 50 miles on it. The Rev Limiter is still intact and barely gets to 30mph. How is the Rev Limiter disabled and what is the speed difference?

| On the 2005 Beamer II, it's under the seat compartment:
1. Lift the seat
2. Remove the four screws holding the seat compartment in.
3. On the right hand side (from sitting postion) is a rectangular box - CDI Unit - covered by a rubber mounting sleeve.
4. Lift the rubbber sleeve from it's mount.
5. Slide the rubber sleeve off of the CDI Unit.
6. Look on the back for a green wire that loops in and out of the back surface.
7. Cut it in half and tape off the exposed ends.
8. Reinstall mounting boot and remount on frame.
9. Reinstall the under seat compartment
