| What kind of motor oil do I put in this a 2002 triumph bonneville? Does it have to be special motorcycle oil or can it be regular Mobil1 triple synthetic 15W 50 oil?

| Hi Joe, I have a 2001 Bonny & you are ok using semi or fully synthetic oil which meets specification AP1 SH - such as Mobil 1 Racing 4T 15W/50. This is as specified in the official owners handbook.
Ride safe,

| You should not use ordinary automotive synthetic oil. This will cause clutch slippage and possible damage. You can either use the factory recommended Mobil1 for bikes or the 20-50 for V-twins. For a cheaper alternative, try Rotella or Delo synthetics for diesel and fleet engines. It still meets motorcycle standards but is very inexpensive - sold by the gallon.
