| What's best for me? I'm looking at the new 2005's, the Honda Shadow Aero VT750, the Suzuki 400 Burgman, the new Yamaha 400 Majesty, and for a little more money the Suzuki V-strom 650. I have had half a dozen bikes down through the years, will be riding mostly rural paved county roads in Southern Ontario, no major highways, mostly two lane, 50-60mph, with my wife on the back. Primary interest is back comfort for 4-6 hour rides. Any thoughts?

| | I don't know about the other bikes but I had a V Strom 650 for a short time. It is an excellent bike as far as power, speed, and gas mileage, however it is basiscally a combonation bullit bike and a trail bike all in one. It is not for a small light wieght person as the bike is heavy and really top heavy to boot. If you are an experienced rider and a big persons with long legs, ( the bike has a high seat height) you will do alright. |
