I can't decide between the 650 and the 400 Burgman, aside the engine size and other "goodies"
I do like the linked brakes from the 400.
Is this significant? is it better to have linked brakes?
can I get a kit to upgrade the 650 brakes?

I've owned a 400 and now own a 650. Both are great machines. We (me and my wife) do 95% 2 up riding @ 65 MPH. The 400 is fine for solo, at higher speeds or 2 up @ 55-65 MPH indicated. I put on 3,000 miles on the 400, at it was still getting stronger. We now have 2,000 miles on the 650, and love it, the tires are bigger,so ride is better and it cruses @65 with 4,000 RPM vs. 65 on the 400 using 6,500 RPM. We boufgt it with more touring in mind, it can run all day @ 80 if needed. Milage (2-up) 60+ on the 400, 45 on the 650. Check out burgmanusa.com for more info.
