| In the same boat ... Just bought a used 2002 Titanium grey 748S and was researching which products i should buy to clean both the plastic and metal parts. I was told to buy and use PLEXUS plastic cleaner for all non-metal parts and Honda Spray cleaner/polisher for the metal. Hope that helps and I betcha don't love the bike as much as i do

| Well the whole point of the flat matte paint is so that it looks elusive. Not sure that you'd even want to make it look shiney, or whatever goal you have in mind. I have mine, and hve only used a warm, damp rag to clean the fairings...and it seems to work great! I love the flat finish...and would never consider it dull. Park your bike, walk backwards about 100 ft., and tell me if you think it's dull. I tell ya...you purchased an amazing looking bike...and I wouldn't trade mine in for the world!! So who thinks they love their '02 748S the best? I do!! I do!!

| I used the Honda spray cleaner as well. It seems pretty good for plastic and metal parts. If you want it to shine, you may want to take it to a body shop to have it clear coated. Personally, the matte finish is one of the features that makes this bike so special (from a looks standpoint).
