Honda Reflex vs Burgmann 400? can anyone help?
I'm trying to decide between de burgmann and the honda reflex. Can anyone tell me what kind of milleage are you getting from the 400? Is it good for ocasional touring?
I will use it mostly to commute, but it would be nice if I could take it out on longer trips every now and then.

Thanks!!!

Ana

I have a 2 year old 400 K1 Burger, done 18,000 miles. My scoot is run throughout the UKs winter (we do get some snow and ice) I use her for work, weekend pleasure rides and touring holidays. Get an average of 68 MPG (UK gallons). Top speed around 95 MPH but cruise arounf 70, plenty in reserve.
Last year I toured Southern Ireland for a week, knocked up 1000 miles, superb comfort, the best tourer I've owned.
Go for it. New 2003 K3 has restyle, fuel injection and increased storage.

I looked at both and for the price difference I thought the Burgman 400 was the better deal. Have 1,600 miles on it and I'm very satisified with my choice. Took it on a long road trip and had a ball. Wouldn't trade my Burgman 400 for any other including the Burgman 650. Mileage thus far 70 - 74 MPG.

Ihave a 400 and 850miles on it so far the best milage I have gotten on a 85 mile trip was 75 mpg that was part freeway and backroads. The least mileage I got was 60 mpg in town in the first 100 miles during breakin. I would not want to ride eather more than 100 miles with out stopping for a break. The Honda reflex will get 10+ mpg better milage on the average after breakin.

I have 5000 miles on my 03 Reflex and love it. Last Nov. rode it down to Key West. A trip of over 3000 miles. Gas milage was around 70 mpg. My only gripe is that the windshield is way too short.
