| Would a low battery have any ill-effect on starting the Badger? It's a CDI ignition system with a magneto. As the battery went south, it got real hard to start cold or warm, and I was not getting a strong healthy spark. Plug (NGK resistor type)would end up sooty, or wet- and yes, it was cranking thru just fine. Had good gas, I replaced the coil to no effect, carb is correct, clean, no air leaks. Good compression, etc. Amax (YFM-80--1995)
