| im thinking about buying a bayou 250 from a neighbor for around 2000 dollars it is a 2004 in good condition. any of you that have this bike think that this is a good deal or not for a 14 year old kid that likes to ride?

| | Keep this in mind you can buy a new one for $3800. So to answer your question you first have to find out how well the 4 wheeler has been taken care of. $2000 dollars is a good price if the 4wheeler has been taken care of. And also that would be a very good 4Wheeler for a 14 year old. |

| no way i bought a 04 a while back from a family friend for 2 grand and it was a peice of junk i suggest just buying a brandnew 07 honda 250 ex or suzuki z 250

| One thing to consider...Bayou 250's are not recommended for kids under 16 years of age. It is stamped right on the Bayou.
I think it would make a good ATV though for a bigger. As for the 2004...if it has been kept up and is in good shape not all beat up it may be worth it, but you can buy a brand new one for about 3,000 or a little more and have a 6 month warranty with it.
You can go to NADA and look at the prices of used ATVs. |
