My friend has a 90cc for the kids & after a few use's it died and will not run at all do to a problem with the wiring. So far I would say reliability is not that good.

You will have some problems, loose bolts, usually cold natured and hard to start, chain may come loose, little stuff you can usually fix with a little common sense.

aite man, see, my littlest cuz has exaclty what ur considering to buy, ffor your kids, they are fairly reliable, but the thing is, the chain comes loose at first quite easily, and a few loose bolts here & there, but if you take care of them, they r verry nice for kids to start out on, or get a little bit more advanced with their riding, so good luck to them, and to you finding one if this isn't good nuff.

i used to have some niebors that had two of them and they wernt all that great. as far as running into **** and keep on running there good.my niebors flipped theres, ran them into trees, busted fenders off, ran over bikes with them and they never quit.as far as fun goes your kids will probably outgrow them quick. they get VERY boring after a while. as far as speed forget it. i outran one on my piece of crap bike i found at the dump(no lie):hehe. i would go and buy a 90 from a major manufacturer. you will have more fun and have them up and running longer than any knock off from china

everyone on this forum is a complete idiot

its very simple. if you have a kid that can ride,is brave, or is seriously interested than you can not beat a major manufacturer. you will get your moneys worth.
if you have no idea how the kid will react or if you know he will be a yard burner either because you dont care enough to take him somewhere real to ride or because hes just not that wild than why not buy a chinese piece and save yourself 2000 bucks.

the chinese pieces are great for yard burning, some can even handle the occasional day on the kiddy track or rolling trail well but they will not stand up to riding the crap out of them and dont expect to resell it.

dont even consider resale value, a 2900 dollar honda trx 90 will resell for 1500-2000 bucks. a 500 dollar chinese unit will resell for 0 dollars you will lose more on the big brand but youll make that up in lack of repairs.
either way your gonna lose about 500 bucks.

your purpose will determine the better value.
