I'm looking for a recreational ATV that will be used for some hunting, but mostly play. I've read articles that says this machine is more likely to roll over than other brands. Is this true? How's the handling on turns?

I don't know what article you read, but I haven't been goten close to fliping it, or even going on two wheeles when side hilling on a 75 degree slope. If you ask me the 500 and all the other Arctic Cat modles are the most reliable. And for the question about the handling on turns. It has its flause like every other brand, yet it stands in the top spot for hondling on turns.

It all depends, if you round a tight bend at 60kms, your going over. if you on to much of a angle, side hilling it, and you hit a rock or a bump the wrong way, without the right body english you could go over. its all common sense. generally they are very stable, and good luck getting stuck in deep the stuff. very capable machines. also IMHO manual is best. full-manual or auto clutched, theres always a low gear available, no belts worry about, and peace of mind out in the bush. more fun too. but anyways, combine a 500cc engine, 12inch of GC, manual tranny and you get a pretty sweet quad. the only thing i dont like about these quads is that there big/bulky but i guess you get use to it. good luck in your choice.

P.S the new honda 420fi is going to kill the competition. lol add some mudlights/bearclaws and go.

i only flipped mine once, and my cousin flipped it 3 times(hes a bad driver). i only flipped mine because it was in reverse going 10 mph and i hit a huge rock jerking my handle bars causing it to flip. but ive had it sideways on very steep hills and it didnt want to tip at all. in handling it handles good in corners but you might find it hard to steer because its so heavy, but it makes up for it in excellent handling
