| Negative, I have tried every performance gimmick out there.
If you give them each by themselves a fair trial on the dyno, you will see no real variation.
True... for an engine that puts out 17.5 Peak HP and you add $450 dollars in the following: Non-restrictive muffler, jet kit, and hi-flow filter you can gain a whopping 1 HP. A 6% gain. Noticeable, not really.
If you want your dollar to stretch... then do it right the first time, buy a machine that put out the kind of power that you want stock.
I guarantee you will be happier in the end.
What makes an engine put out more efficient HP per cc comes down to internal resistance and quality of design.
Anything else is just a band-aid. |
