| i heard that a blaster would kick out at 86 mph if have alot of stuff done to it and if you wanted it to go faster you would have to put an new transmision on it.

| | no. mine has everything done to it. bored and everything. it was even raced. it can only reach 70mph. but if you want yours to go faster, it does have something to do with gearing. you don't have to buy a tranny. drop some teeth in your rear sprocket. what i mean by that is buy a smaller sprocket with less teeth on it. your blaster won't wind out as fast, but it will definately reach a higher speed. to get better acceleration instead of top speed, just do the opposite about the sprocket. add teeth to increase acceleration. a new sprocket will only cost about 18-40 bucks (prices from rockymountainatv.com) |

| you can get those blasters up to 100mph if you do the right stuff to it and if you have someone that know quad. here in californa in a town called cauthers theres a blaster that beats yfz banshee's 250r's and more.

| | well my blaster beats stock banshees but first dude is right, you will have to play with the gearing some and get a big bore kit and perferrably a toomey b-1 kit and just everything you can think of, the only reason im able to beat banshees is because i had a custom head made for mine and it costed a pretty penny. i dont think the 240 kit will do it |
