I had a 98 trx fourtrax300 until someone decided to barrow it permantly. I kept up most of the times with my friends but they say I should go with the 4x4. What about the 2x4, I do'nt do alot of mudding so would the 2x4 meet my needs like my old 300.

I think one of the new 05 or 06 350 4x2 will be plenty. I have an 05 foreman 500 and a 05 rancher 350 and the 500 goes every place most 350 4x4 go. I found a great deal on my 05 foreman 500 and so far it is the best atv I have ever had for pulling for work or play and at $3800 brand new in april 06 for a left over 05 was a great deal. Hope this helps.

I don't do alot of mudding either, I have friends who have the Suzuki King Quad 4X4, the Yamaha 700 4X4, Honda Foreman 4X4. All I have is a 1986 2X4 TRX 200. I go anywhere they can. In some cases I go where they can't. I'm convinced unless you do alot of mudding, you really don't need a 4X4. I'm looking to repalce my TRX 200 with newer model and I'm looking at a 2X4.
