| Love my 2004. 1/3 more power for 2/3 the price. Thats my Harley-tude "Reality check" conversation starter.
The valves are still a little noisy. I have a hard time hearing them over my Vance and Hines 2-in-1, but in idle they definately clack. More so than a Honda or EVO Harley (Having sat next to both before showing them how pretty my LED tailight is by using the 102 Cubes and 100+ Lbs of rear tire torque to disappear!).
Really, once your out of Idle, it purrs and no extrenius noise is apparent, but if you like a noisless idle, this is not the bike.

| | almost all air cooled, push rod engines with out hydralic self adjusters on valves will make noise, (get loud pipes it helps hide it) |

| | It's normal for that design to be noisy. You need to be on a goldwing... or better yet.... in a car. |
