Hi, I'm having trouble getting my 2004 Sportsman 600 to stay running when it's cold. I was wondering if anyone knew what the carb spec for 800-1000 ft. I called my local Polaris/Yamaha dealer. He said there is a Polaris team tip, BUT he had no ideal in the correct jetting. T have installed a K&N filter. Everthing else is stock. ANY help is VERY appreciated! Thanks!

I thought mine was being cold blooded also when it would not stay running after a cold start. There ia a safety contact on the left hand side of the handlebars where the throttle is. If you remove the cap fom the top you will see that when you press the gas it separates the contacts but when released they touch and the machine dies. I put some duct tape betwen the two contacts so they will never touch and my ATV will sit for a week but when I fire it up she purrs like a kitten.
