i heard that the oil pumps suck in these things is that true??

no. They usually only go out when u let the oil level fall. Try to keep the tank full and you should b fine. If u modify the engine then u may want to convert it to premix. My blaster is an 01' and the oil pump still works really well.

I heard the same thing but i asked my friend who races quads and he said they work fine because he asked a yamaha dealer and they said they only had one case of the motor buring up because it didnt get enough oil

if you ride in the cold, of put aftermarket parts on it i would block it off! ive seen about 4 of then fail an im only 16!

i would just block it off neway i had found out the hard way and i ended up blowing my motor up aso your best is to just block it off, the kit was only like 20-30$ on ebay it pays off in the end
