I am looking to buy either an ATP or sportsman and would like to know if anyone uses the ATP to push a front mount mower and if it has the traction in the turf mode not to tear up the grass

I do not use my ATP to push a mower but I have used it on a yard rake. The turf mode is exceptional, you really cannot tell where you turned. I also have a TrailBoss 325 and have used it for the same task and it is easy to see where it turned. As far as traction goes I have not encountered a situation where I needed traction in a sodded environment but if it slips then you can simply slip the switch to 2X4 mode and if that doesn't help then go to AWD mode.

I use my 2004 ATP 500 HO to push a 60 inch front mounted mower and it works great. I use turf mode and it does not tear up the lawn a bit. I have about 3 acres to cut each week. Thanks.
