| Hey everyone. I was wondering what everyone thought of this new 919. I now drive a 2000 VTR1000 and am looking at something that has the comfort level of my old 84 Nighthawk 750 but with the performance of my Superhawk. Would the 919 be the slice I'm looking for?? I'm also considering a Ducati Monster 900. I just can't stand the sport bike riding position but I want the performance. What would you suggest?? Thanks.

| NONONO!! You won't get the same performance from this as your superhawk. This bike is going to be completely different. The power will be smooth and linear as opposed to that ratchet feel from your twin. However the acceleration numbers may be similar the feel is different and if it was just me, the twin is twice the excitement.

| Trevor, about two months ago i traded my superhawk for a 919.This bike is a god-send for those of us who like comfort and performance.I can ride all day long. This bike loves the curves of deals gap as well. You seem to be in the same boat i was in so i highly recomend the 919.Have a good ride!

| I love it! It's been called a Nighthawek on steroids. The 919 has 100 hp (plenty of power) and is light and very comfortable. The seating is upright. Maintenance will be less than the Monster.
I ride around with a smile on my faqce all the time...

| I traded my VTR1000 fro a Kawasaki ZRX1100 which I traded for a 919.(I'm a Honda guy at heart)I loved my VTR except for the riding position because my buddies like to go on long rides. The 919 makes the same horsepower(both are between 99 and 104 horse, mine 919 dynoed at 101.5)The weights are within 10 pounds when fully gassed so power to weight is equal. If you take the VTR's power curve and move it up 500 rpm you have the 919. If you couldn't hear the motors you couldn't tell the difference.

| I just got the 919 a few weeks ago. So far I've been very impressed. For only $8000 out the door you can get one. It may not quite be able to keep up with the FZ1 on the track but I think it's the best bang for the buck out there. Very comfortable (all day) riding comfort. Passenger pillion needs to be a little thicker though.
