| How fast does your 2005 Arctic Cat 400 automatic go? Mine does good to go 45 mph. Also, any problems with it quiting after riding for awhile, and then becoming hard to start?

| I hit 41 mph but I have after market tires so that affects the speed. There is no problems with it quitting and it is not hard to start.

| Mine will do 50 mph! But I only did it once just to see how fast it would go. I also noticed when the fan comes on and I let it idle it sometimes stalls but starts right back up. I was told that my idle speed it too low!

| Hey Justin,
Yeah, my 400 pretty much tops out at around 45 to 50, which is why I am looking for a different exhaust or something for mine. Haven't had any problems with it quitting, but I did install some accessory driving lights and when I rode with those on along with my headlights on high beam for about an hour and a half, my battery went almost dead, enough so that I had to use the backup pull starter, which fired right up first pull.

| I've had mine up to 54. I've had problems with it quiting in cold weather after I ran it hard, but mine always started backup. When you go to get off the throttle, ease off it. After I started doing that she hasn't quit on me since.
