| | hi im 15 and i have had a sportsmen 500 since ive been 11 and luv the machine. my friend has a yamaha grizzly 660 and mine does everything 100 times better. my family just bought another polaris but this time we got a 600. get a 500. The 600 has alot of power but the 500 is still i think a better machine |

| this might have a liitle too much power i'm 16 185lb and 6 feet. It has lots of power for me You should start with a 400-500.

| | I would not think the 600 would be a beginner bike because of the output of the motor. I am 6'2 and 250 pounds and by no mends is under powered. I have put an 800 head pipe a jet kit, k&n air filter on mine and this bike will do what ever I want it to. A sportsman 400 would be more a bigginer atv depending an how good of a rider you are. You should test drive some of the different units available and make an educated choice by what you feel you can handle. |

| no the polaris 600 is big and bulky I reccomend a smaller machine like a 400 or 500 like a suzuki vinson or eiger however the yamaha kodiak is a decent machine also
