| I have a Kawasaki ATV Prairie 400 4x4
it is a 1998 I had the belt changed about a year or so ago and it has just started slipping about a month ago is there any way to tighten it or will need to repalce it. I am going to do the work my self so any info will be of great help to me,

| hi i also have a 400 prarie and about the only option to a belt sliping is to replace it or wear it till it smokes off

| | GO TO MANUFACTURER'S SUPPLY, INC. AND THEY HAVE BELTS FOR ABOUT 35.00 THAT ARE JUST AS GOOD AS THE ONES YOU WOULD GET FOR ABOUT A 100.00 AT THE KAWASAKI STORE. |

| I bought a clutch puller for about 30.00 dollars, and a dayco high performance belt. works great. It takes longer to get all the screws out than to replace the belt.
