Hey,
There is one thing you can do which is taking off the end cap(exhaust tip)of the pipe.I did that with my DVX400 and it got alot louder! When you are on the quad it sounds like a aftermarket pipe. But my friends said it sounds Really Bad,like a echo sound. I let my friends ride it and to me it was the worsed sound coming from a pipe I have ever heard. And I found out that after 7 months of riding. But then I found out by World MX Champ Doug Gust's personal engineers and specialist that TAKING OFF THE STOCK END CAP IS DAMAGING THE ENGINE AND PUTS THE ENGINE AT A GREAT RISK OF OVERHEATING AND POSSIBLY SENDING THE ENGINE IN FOR EXPENCIVE REPAIR.

The answer to your question is a HUGE NO! GET AFTERMARKET PARTS TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR QUAD or if you dont want to send money on it, keep it stock!

You can get a performance tip they call um. It replaces the stock muffler tip/spark arrestor, and gives ya a few DBs

You can cut the spark restorator out of the exhaust but it is only louder when you are slowing down.
