| Is this quad right for a 14 year old girl?

| No, it's more engine & weight than you really need. I'd advise either a Polaris Trailblazer 250, or the lighter new Polaris Phoenix 200. Both have automatic transmissions. Or, if you want to shift for yourself, a Yamaha Blaster(200). They're all $3,400 or less. Very affordable in new-quad terms. The Phoenix & Blaster are pretty small and will fit you well. The Trailblazer is big & heavy but manageable. Fine for open terrain but a bit of a pig on tight trails.

| No, the machine probably weighs 3-4 times her weight. I let my daughter ride my 700 once just so she can get the feel of a powerful machine, but no way would I let her loose on the trail with it. She is comfortable on her 250 cc Suzuki. That is plenty for a 14 year old to handle.
