We took a couple to Rock Springs, Wy. with paddles and had a blast. The tallest dune there was about 200 ft. tall and steep, and we had to let off the throttle at the top

From what I've seen done in testing, comparing to the raptor, the pred will smoke it going up dunes, the raptor doesnt stand a chance against it

Ive had my 500 for a couple months now...Been out to the Dunes twice, and it goes up any hill out there...most of them in 2 or 3rd gear. Great dune climbing machine...and goes up them fast too!

Your friend doesn't know what he is talking about. I have a 03 predator and I live by the Oregon dunes and ride them alot. The predator has more than enough power to get you up any hill you will want to clime. When I first got my predator I took it out on the dunes without paddles and there wasn't a hill I couldn't clime. It might have taken me a couple tries on the big hills but it did it.

NO offense, but your friend needs to use ALL of the throttle. I sold my Banshee a few years ago and honestly couldn't tell you which one has the edge on hill climbing. I would give my current quad (predator 500) the edge on more technical hills and trails. The Predator comes on strong and keeps coming on stronger throughout the entire throttle

Your friend is dead wrong. This thing eats hills.
