| My son bent one of the tie rods on our 2001 sportsman 90. I took it off and beat it back to straight. It took me a few attempts to get the alignment adjusted, but is fine now. As far as reliable... I've had some issues with my this little bugger. The electric choke doesn't always work(I have to pop the air intake off the air cleaner and cover it with my hand when starting cold(but it always starts). The suspension is fine for kids, but don't expect anything for the fat boys. I change the transmission oil regular because it seems to get moisture in it. Alot of the plastic pieces(chain guard, front bumper, and fake headlight) all have some kind of damage. I mainly blame this on low quality. Both mine and my neighbors eat batteries. If possible, plan on trickle charging the battery when not in use. John

| Oh yeah... when the rear is depressed, the chain loosens(another poor design). Once again, this is fine for the little ones. It's not a bad machine overall, but compared to a yahama breeze with costs a bit more, I'd go for the yamaha. The breeze has reverse and neutral, a better suspension/handling and seems to be healthier unit overall.
