Hey Aaron, this bike will be perfect for you. I am just an inch taller at 5'6". and my new spirit fits great. I just picked one up about three weeks ago. The low seat height makes it perfect for those of us that are vertically challenged. I spent a great deal of time researching this bike and it paid off. I really love the bike. I would suggest that you try going to a website for spirit riders. The website is www.spirit750.com It has a link to a 750 spirit forum which is excellent. Tons of great information on the spirit. There have been a number of posts on the forum about how appropriate this bike is for people our height. Hope this helps, Brad

I'm 19 and 5'-5" 120lbs and just started riding motorcycles last year, I started with a honda vlx, and got tired of that in a season. I know have a 2002 Honda sabre (which has a fairly low saddle compared to other bikes in it's class). My dad has a 98' Honda Valkyrie tour and it's a brut, but i touch tip toe and ride it fine. I also just sat on the new vtx 1300 and it fits like a glove.

You won't have any probs Aaron. I'm 5'6" and 140, and it's an easy machine to handle (it helps that the seat is 26.5 " high).
