I live in colorado and we had to mess with the needle to get it to run right at the high altitude.. add a k&n air filter, remove the head pipes and use a die grinder to remove the large welds inside... you can buy a cap that replaces the cap on the stock pipe that will let it breath a significant more amount... my xr250 runs great now, with a lot more power!
