| I have an '03 1200 Custom with rejetted carb and Screaming Eagle pipes. I would like to make it louder. What are my options, and is one of them removing the baffles? If I do, does it require a carb rejet?

| As far as im concerned you already have a beautiful bike. Keep it in the condition its in. The screaming eagle pipes that you have are loud enough. Secondly do you want to wake the neighbors all the time.

| Check the catalogs for "Rip Saw" pipes. They are the meanist sounding pipes made and are exellent quality.

| | Knock the baffles out if you want loud... leave them in if you want power! I am on my third Sportster ('03 1200 Custom) been riding them for over 20 years. I have SE II pipes, SE air cleaner, thunderjet kit, dyno tuned, and it is a very, very strong running and sounding machine. The SE pipes should burn in within several hundred miles. If you want more performance, dig real deep into your pockets! |

| | Remember there is a difference between music and noise. I was very happy with the sound and performance of my 1200 custom with S E pipes, jet kit, breather kit. They do improve with miles. |
