| I bought a used 2004 Rebel 2-weeks back with 2,500 miles on it. I’m afraid, I hurt her when I try to push her more than 45 or 50, she don’t seem OK with speed beyond this. Some times I wonder I didn’t reach the Top gear, but I am in the 5th gear. I love this bike, its very smooth at a speed of 35 to 40mph, please advice if She needs some sort of power adjustments to it.

| You can get increased torque by chaging out the rear spocket, but wouldn't advise it. I travel comfortably at ranges from 50-55 mph, but faster than that, the engine tends to whine too much and the vibration can be annoying which is why I don't travel on the highway much. It just isn't made for that sort of thing. From what i've heard, top end speed is around 75 mph, but I have only had her up to about 65mph. It just doesn't seem ok with high speed travel.

| I have a 2003 Rebel, I have had it up to 75 mph, but that was all she had. This is a great starter bike, but it is not made for lots of highway riding.
