| | Have a 2005 Honda Shadow Sabre. Absolutely love the bike, runs great. However, when coming to a stop and applying the rear brake, just before the bike comes to a complete stop, the brake squeels. Kind of like a rusty old coil spring. Have taken it back to the dealership on numerous occasions. They have cleaned the brakes, sanded the brake pads, but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions???? Please HELP! Thanks! |

| This is not uncommon on some motos. The pad and drum sometimes rub and vibrate at an annoying squealing frequency. There is nothing wrong. It will often go away as the pad wears down more in a couple of hundred miles. If not, it will probably go away when you change the pads -- use another brand next time. I always have mine redone rather than buy new ones.
