| I just put a deposit on a new 05 T100 and won't get it until Aug? does anyone have any suggstions on a nice clean set up (maybe too quiet with stock) so the warranty won't get void other than what is in theese reviews? money not a problem. I'm an old Triumph owner from the 70's t140 and that thing ran great through my college days, had some fairly loud pipes aftermarket but don't remember?) Thanks Jay in South Florida

| I think these other guys kinda have the right idea. As SOON as you take delivery, REMOVE THE AIR INJECTION SYSTEM!!! Your pipes will turn blue in less than 20 miles if you don't. Get the kit from newbonneville.com. They make the nicest looking head bolts with Union Jacks on them. Some dealerships carry these in stock. I'm not very mechanical, but even I was able to take off the tank and remove the air injector in about a half hour. Newbonneville also offers a NARK, which I plan to install after break-in when I buy pipes. I haven't decided on which pipes yet, but I'd like to keep the 'pea-shooter' look. Staintune and Sceptre are 2 kinds that I'm looking at.

| | Ask your dealer for a set of TORs. - Triumph off road pipes. Factory supplied pipes with jetting kit. Helps the bike to sound a lot like the Triumphs of your youth. There are other 3rd party pipe manufactures that make them sound even better (louder). |

| Triumph do 'off road' pipes (called that cos they're not strictly legal. Nice sound, look the same as the originals, and with the jets that come with them, add a bit of power. Other manufacturers do triumphrat.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Forum&file=viewforum&forum=21ipes too - Bub, Staintune etc..
