| This is the second place where I've read that the tries wear out quickly. Why is it or what is it about the RST 1000 that cause atypical tire wear?
What is the difference in horsepower comparing the 2001 vs 2002 models ?

| How quickly are we talking about? I have a Ducati Supersport. My tires last about 4,000 miles. Some softer racing tires won't last that long. Yup!! It gets expensive but I love it!!

| All powerful bikes wear their tires out quickly, specially those that handle well enough to use soft compound tires.

| Tyres that came with the bike lasted about 4,200 miles. Swapped to Diablos on Nitro and got 7,500. i now have Avon Viper sport on nitro - much different compound and am hoping for only about 4,000 - but the handling difference is worth it!
