The VTX1800 series have adjustable rear suspension and are very well built. I work at a Hond dealership and ive built some VTX's and they're all powerful, comfortable and reliable machines. Ive only seen a couple of people bring in their VTX's into the service centre, only for winter storage or for accessories to be installed. Don't get me wrong, the bike is quite comfortable, but on long rides, I could use either 2" more on the forward controls, or highway pegs. Haven't decided which yet.
