| | I am new to motorcycling, 26 yrs old. 5'10'', about 170lbs. The Buell keeps calling me! Is this a good option for a newcomer who will respect the power? |

| LOL I was very close to the same age and proportions when I got my first bike, which was also a Buell®, it was a Blast though. The Blast was agreat bike to learn on, perfect for the beginner, you don't really need anything more powerful to learn with because beleive me, if your new to bikes, you won't respect the power and if you get something to big before you learn the proper respect for power that can be deadly. It is very forgiving to little mistakes made while you're mastering the proper way to ride. It may not be very cool but you should always learn to walk before to run. Plus its powerful enough, outside of racing Vipers and the like mine can at least keep up with, if not beat, everything I have come up against (note: mine does have the cam, intake, exhaust and ignition upgraded) plus its inexpensive to repair if you happen to lay it down. And nothing gives you more experiece than mistakes. I hope this helps.
