Kawasaki makes one as an accessory too. Soft luggage, fits well and has an insulated inner patch on the right side for thre exhaust heat. Was about 120 bones and well worth it. My bike is a 2001 with 13k miles on it and not a lick of trouble. Do a search for KLR650 and look through all the stuff it pulls up. There is some guy on there that sells an aluminum securable box that mounts in place of the little cargo rack. They go for a little over 100 bucks.
