| | I currently have an 04 Kawasaki 636 and beleive it or not go on long distance trips with it, however Im thinking of selling it to get a sport touring bike (more sport than touring) and this bike caught my eye, looks like a sport bike without the luggage and equally as good with it. Im aware that the bike produces around 115HP but im concerned about the weight. How much does it weigh and would the performance compare to my 636 which also produces around 115HP? Also what is the amount of torque produced? Any help that would be appreciated thanks. |

| This is an excellent long distance bike to bad it is no longer being made. It probably does weigh about 100 pds more than yours but you dont feel it when riding plus the extra weight makes it ride smoother on the highway. The torque is around 65.5. As far as performance goes Its probably not as fast as your 636. But what it lacks in performance will be made up by long distance comfort.
